About Northforge Labs

Hi, I'm Adam.
I've been deep in the hobby for over 30 years — Warhammer, Age of Sigmar, D&D, board games, scale modelling, you name it. If it involves a paintbrush, a rulebook, or a pile of sprues on a desk, I'm probably already there.
And for most of those 30 years, my hobby space looked exactly like you'd expect: paint pots stacked in precarious towers, minis rolling around in whatever box they came in, bits bags that were technically organized but practically useless. The kind of setup where finding one specific model means moving six other things first.
I tried what was out there. Foam trays, tackle boxes, the stuff people recommend in the hobby forums. Some of it was fine. None of it was quite right — wrong dimensions, wrong materials, not designed by someone who actually sits at a hobby table for hours at a time.
---
So I built it myself.
When I got my first FDM 3D printer, the first thing I did was start solving my own storage problems. Organizers sized for actual paint pot brands. Trays that fit the models I was painting, not generic dimensions from a product designer who'd never held a brush. Boxes that made sense for how hobby workflows actually work.
The results were good enough that people started asking where I got them.
Northforge Labs' production of 3 Five Design's War-ganizer miniature cases is the answer to that question.

How it works.
Everything is made to order. When you place an order, I print it. There's no warehouse, no mass production, no inventory sitting on a shelf. That means every piece that ships is hand checked, and it means I can keep quality tight in a way that bulk manufacturing never could.
I use quality PLA — lightweight, durable, and the right material for hobby storage. It holds its shape, it doesn't off-gas anything nasty near your paint collection, and it's tough enough for a hobby table that sees real use.
Lead times are honest. I'll always tell you how long your order will take before you buy.

What I make.
Northforge Labs focuses on storage and organization for miniature painters and tabletop gamers — the practical stuff that makes your hobby space actually work. Paint organization, miniature storage, gaming accessories. Designed by someone who uses all of it.
The product range is growing. If there's something specific you're looking for and don't see, reach out. I build things to solve real problems, and I'm always interested in what problems people actually have.

A small operation, by design.
Northforge Labs is intentionally small. I'm not trying to become a factory. I'm trying to make genuinely useful things for people who love the same hobby I do, and to do it at a quality level that I'd actually want to buy myself.
If that sounds like something you're into, welcome.
